Supplements for rabbits and other furries
This area is an interesting one. of all the species rabbits have an odd way of dealing with calcium and it seems that excess calcium is eliminated easily. The same investigations haven't been carried out with other species but certainly calcium problems are rare.
Because some of the muesli based diets can lead to selective feeding nutrional deficiencies can occur, and low calcium was seen as a big part of rabbit teeth problems due to poor mineralisation of the skull and jaws - resulting in tooth alignment issues.
Other vitamin and mineral dificiencies are seen in all of these animals.
