Supplements for rabbits and other furries

This area is an interesting one. Of all the species rabbits have an odd way of dealing with calcium and it seems that excess calcium is eliminated easily. The same investigations haven't been carried out with other species but certainly calcium problems are rare.

Because some of the muesli based diets can lead to selective feeding nutrional deficiencies can occur, and low calcium was seen as a big part of rabbit teeth problems due to poor mineralisation of the skull and jaws - resulting in tooth alignment issues.

Other vitamin and mineral deficiencies are seen in all of these animals.

Many, many thanks -

I am not sure of which staff member dealt with my order for chloramine T, but I would just like to say a massive thank-you for getting the item in the post as quickly as she did. To my mind her actions were above and beyond the normal call of duty and I really appreciate it.
