Chanaverm wormer- prevents and treats roundworms and pinworms

This product made available under the Small Animal Exemption Scheme utilises the very safe wormer levamisole (used in a wide range of livestock for many years)  in a very safe formulation 15mg/ml for all small pets.

Hold the bird firmly but gently and place the tip of the syringe in the side of the beak, emptying the contents onto the tongue.

With some small cage birds the margin of safety is said to be small and some species are particularly sensitive. Avoid overdosage.

In racing pigeons Chanaverm is ideal, it may cause some regurgitation so distracting the birds for 30 minutes after dosing is worthwhile to avoid them losing the dose. Ideally withhold food for 24 hrs before dosing and feed 3 hrs after dosing.

Always clean faeces away after treatment to avoid reinfection.
